Kew Gardens 2019
As a part of my natural packaging assignment, I recently took a trip to Kew Gardens to collect a range of pictures that I could use within my work as inspiration and secondary research. This was my first time to Kew Gardens but I was pleasantly surprised but the range of different plants they have around the garden. I was also able to take photographs of Dale Chihuly's amazing glass sculptures which were dotted around. The photos that I collected over the course of the day I am really pleased with so I wanted to share some of them on here, and obviously, I manage to sneak in a few shameless photos of me and my friends! Dale Chihuly's work captures colorful and mesmerizing glasswork that is set within nature to allow it to stand out more. He uses the outdoor environment as a gallery space that combines the idea of natural and manmade objects to create an " exaggerated celebration of what is found in nature".
